Together with the United Arab Emirates National Transport Authority we have the pleasure of inviting you to the 15th International Conference “Road Safety on Four Continents” to be held in Abu Dhabi. The dates for the conference is now decided to be 22-24 March 2010.

Great interest in the Road Safety Conference RS4C

We have received a very great interest in the next RS4C Conference. The number of abstracts submitted is near to 190. The scientific committee is working intensively in their review process and all proposals are expected to have been reviewed in September. Accepted proposals for full paper submission will be notified in September.

Abstracts are submitted from all the four continents, Europe, Africa, Asia and North America, as well as from Australia and South America. The conference will be a real “Global” event in Road Safety. There are papers proposed from 49 countries.

The conference is organized by the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) together with the National Transport Authority of UAE. The conference is supported by GRSP (Global Road Safety Partnership), FERSI (Forum of European Road Safety Research Institutes), TRB (Transportation Research Board) and ECTRI (European Conference of Transport Research Institutes).

Co-operating organizations

In view of the wide scope of this conference co-operation is thought with the following international organisations dealing fully or partially with Road Safety: WHO, UNESCWA, UNESCAP, PIARC, OECD/ECMT, World Bank, PRI and others.
