The training course on “Information Systems for Municipal Work” has reached its ends on October 14, 2004; finishing six days of activities in Dubai, UAE.
This cause was attended by 43 participants from various Arab cities and municipalities.
The course was aimed to enlighten participant on the new methods of analysis and design of information systems with emphasis on analysis and design of information systems of municipal works.
The scientific curricular for this course was tailor-made for those responsible of information technology, system analysts, directors of programs, programmers and systems developers. Although a sufficient knowledge on information systems and basics of programming and system promotion was desired but no previous experience in analysis and design was required.
This course was conducted within “E-municipalities” program initiated by the Arab Urban Development Institute (AUDI) : a specialized program for training and consultation in the field of computerization of municipal work. It was designed to assist Arab cities and municipalities that intend to apply the concept of “E-municipalities”
